Join the Trails Master Plan

The City of Corona is seeking community members for the Trails Master Plan ‐ Phase II Working Group! The second phase of Corona’s Trails Master Plan will help identify trails projects and policies to help cement the City’s position as a regional trails destination and access point to the Cleveland National Forest.
The role of the Working Group is to help guide the Plan’s development and ensure that it is representative of community needs and desires.

PARTICIPANT EXPECTATIONS
Attend 6 Working Group meetings over approximately 18 months
Developing a vision for the future of Corona’s trails network
Identifying existing trail network gaps, barriers, and opportunities
Representing the perspectives and needs of various trail users and those impacted by trail use in the community
Reviewing and providing comments on draft documents
Promoting project surveys, meetings, and input opportunities through your network
Providing updates to City Council and Parks and Recreation Commission
A minimum time commitment of approximately 2‐3 hours per month
This is a small, collaborative body, limited to 15 representatives in order to facilitate meaningful conversations.
As such, engaged attendance and thoughtful, compromise‐oriented participation is essential. If you do not have the capacity to join the Working Group, there will be alternative opportunities to make your voice heard including community meetings, surveys, and public comments.
